About me

I opened Simon’s Bows in August of 2018 after attending Lynn Hannings' Bow Rehair workshop at the University of New Hampshire. The craft of working on bows really suits my temperament, it is very detail oriented and requires the precise and careful use of tools. In August of 2019 I expanded my offerings to include bow repair as well.

My 'day job' is playing the violin. I am a member of the Hartford, New Haven, Eastern CT, and Bangor Symphonies, and can be heard playing throughout Connecticut and New England. In my spare time I enjoy refereeing youth soccer.
